Thanksgiving and growth
12/1/2008 5:11:52 PM

Hope everyone had a good turkey day. We are thankful here for all our great clients, friends and family. We are blessed. As you can tell by the two entry's below there is some change and growth happening here at Wildberry. We are also looking for a unique position, someone with accounting background but interested in a challenge as a project manager. Any previous knowledge of our industry is useful, but not necessary. We need someone that is well organized, can handle a fast pace and loves to learn. This is an entry position and would learn behind some of the best project managers around. Let me know if you're interested.

Another Video person...
10/15/2008 5:09:09 PM

Our video department has boomed this last half of 2008. We have been enjoying traveling all around to various locations to film. From the high places like the top of a fire truck boom at 120 feet or a ethanol silo at 150 feet, down to level ground around the state, it's been a fun 2008. Because of this we have added yet another video person to the group. His name is Gavin Felix. He is a talented videographer, editor and producer. Gavin is a former track and field guy so that is a plus for me. Welcome to the group.

Changes at Wildberry
7/17/2008 5:06:16 PM

I mentioned Dharwaman and Jared in the entry above and I thought it would be good to expand on that. Dharwaman joined our group about five months ago. He is originally from Indonesia and came to Nebraska for college. He has been working for us on a part time basis and has a very strong work ethic and programming knowledge, plus he likes the Chicago Bears, so that was bonus for me. Jared has been with us for about a month now. He is a very talented Director, Producer, Videographer and Editor. He studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. He has been a huge addition to our video production area.

Time Flies, Blog Suffers
7/16/2008 5:07:16 PM

Yes our own website is the last thing to get touched. We have been so busy with client projects we have not had a chance to mess with our own blog. Some quick updates on the company is that we have brought in Jared Staab to assist in our video production area and also Dharwaman Sentosa who has been working as a web programmer for us they are both very talented young men. We are still growing and are looking for ASP, PHP programmers for our web development side of the company. We hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July and are having a good summer. At this rate my next blog entry will be in November... We'll see.

We have added yet another designer to our mix. Amalia "Molly" Horn is new to our production group. She is a graduate of UNL and has strong design, photography and software talents. She has hobbies of teaching dance and origami, but not all at once, that could cause some bad paper cuts. She is a welcome part of our group.

Summer Brings Interns
5/29/2007 4:59:29 PM

Summer is here and that means summer internships. This year we have a couple really good one's. First is Sophie Vodvarka, she is attending Creighton and is a journalism major. She interned for me when I owned Artisan Creed, she did so well there, it was a no-brainer to have her intern again. Our second intern is Amy Jackman, she is a graphic design major at Dana and is also a track and field person like myself. She is a hurdler and of course I'm a pole vaulter, so we both like attacking barriers that are put in front of us. Anyway we are blessed to have two fine interns with us this summer. Welcome ladies!

-- Jason

Time Flies
3/20/2007 4:56:38 PM

I just noticed we hadn't posted anything on our blog for a bit. Sorry about that, we have been extrememly busy. Since the last posting, we have had many changes. We are getting very settled into our office space. Dustin Larimer, a great designer and programmer has been added to our group. Emily got engaged to her fiancee Andy. Corkey is organizing the musical "The WIZ" for the Lincoln Playhouse for this summer. I've begun volunteering at Seward High School coaching the Pole Vaulters again. Brynley is leaving us for Mexico, she should be back in a week if she doesn't end up in a Mexican jail. Oh, and Leann won the Nebraska Lottery... It was only a dollar, but hey she won!

We added our first large national client with Griffen Bikes and continue to have a very full production schedule. We have truely been blessed. We're also looking at adding to our design group some more. We will try and keep more on top of the blog to keep everyone up to date on activities at Wildberry.

Office Remodeling almost COMPLETE!
11/29/2006 4:52:52 PM

It seems like a long time coming, but with the smell of new carpet in the office, our remodeling is almost complete. We do have a few finishing touches left to do in the video studio and kitchen, but for the most part it is done. Our office furniture was ordered, so we are looking forward to having that installed soon. I think everyone is looking forward to the new chairs the most. I'm personally looking forward to the couch in the lounge.

WPG has been in business for over two months now and I'm amazed at the growth we've experienced already. 10/4/2006 4:49:23 PM

What does the "production" mean in Wildberry Production Group? Ever wonder what we do here at Wildberry? Well, we're a production group that does many things that advertising firms do plus a whole lot more. We make computer-based training CDs, produce videos and commercials, design websites and e-mmercials, and develop logos. Interested? Just call or email if you have a project for us!

Posted new website
9/11/2006 4:27:08 PM

First off, this is a day that should be remembered by us all. I pray for our troops and the survivors and families of 9/11. May God bless them and our great country.

We have posted a news release in the Journal Star here in Lincoln in the Business Achievements section. We have had many phone calls asking where we are and what we are doing. I hope the press release answers some of those questions and our previous blog postings should as well. I'm very excited about what we have been able to achieve in such a short amount of time. We have truly been blessed in this adventure so far. If you have any questions or want to get a hold of us, please feel free to do so. We will look forward to hearing from you.

Floor plans
8/28/2006 4:18:39 PM

We have come up with floor plans for our space. I'm pumped because we have 3200 square feet of open space. That's like giving an artist a blank canvas. We have been coming up with different ideas and we think we have found what we like. The process to get contractors and everything lined up will begin. We hope our creative talents will be displayed in a functional yet vibrant work environment. We are also creating a large recording booth that I'm looking forward to using; it will be adjacent to our video suites. Oh, and I almost forgot, I'm a technology nut and we just received our new editing machine. We now have an Avid Express system and DV-CAM decks and three 21" monitors to go with it. This is a huge step up from the systems I've had in the past and I'm really excited to start working on them. I will post some construction pictures as we move forward.

Smith assists development
8/11/2006 4:18:39 PM

Ronda Smith as agreed to assist Wildberry with its development and oversee our company's structure and policies. She has had experience at Disney, Conagra, Union Pacific and Artisan Creed in similar roles. She is going to be vital to us as we begin this journey. She is a very skilled leader and organizer. She also has a background in creating training curriculum and organizational structures that will be beneficial for any potential computer or interactive web-based projects. We welcome Ronda to our group.

-- Jason

The group continues to form
8/10/2006 4:21:08 PM

Jason has hired some additional quality personnel. Leann Wiese and Brynley Thomas, formerly of Artisan Creed, have joined us at Wildberry. They both have a great amount of experience and knowledge of our industry. They will be helping us with the development of our new business and managing our projects. I'm excited to have them joining the group.

Jim Sundeen has joined me in the adventure. He previously served as a writer at Artisan Creed when I was there. Wildberry Production Group becomes a company
8/1/2006 4:18:39 PM

Its official: Wildberry Production Group is incorporated. After I sold my half of Artisan Creed, I decided to start a new business. I have been praying about this decision and I'm confident that I have made the right choice. I wouldn't trade my experience of co-founding and running Artisan Creed for the world. I believe that we must learn from our experiences and use that knowledge to move forward. I see this as a new adventure and I'm eager to begin. As we go through the process of growing a new company, we will be adding to this blog. Check back for new updates
